Marvel Studios revealed the cast of its upcoming "Fantastic Four" film in a Valentine's Day card-themed announcement on Instagram.

The ensemble cast includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing), and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch).

Pedro Pascal, known for "Game of Thrones" and "The Last of Us," takes on the role of Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby, recognized for "The Crown," portrays the Invisible Woman.

"The Fantastic Four" is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, and will be directed by Matt Shakman, known for his work on "WandaVision."

The Fantastic Four holds special significance as Marvel's "first family," being the first characters created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics in 1961.

Speculation arises about the film's setting being in the 1960s, suggested by a retro announcement photo.

Marvel has kept the film's story and plot under wraps, but it may follow the classic comic narrative of four astronauts gaining superpowers after cosmic radiation exposure during a space mission.

The film marks Marvel Studios' first take on the Fantastic Four since Disney acquired the rights from 20th Century Fox in 2019, sparking high anticipation among fans.
